Long tangent incoming:
In all honesty, both are in the right. Lucy knows that high grades don’t matter at the end of the day, if you pass and don’t fail classes left and right, doing what you love with people that you care about and still keep in touch with said people, that’s better than getting any A, experience is better than entitlement.
But on the other end, the parent wants to see their kid be in a better state than where they currently are, not stagnant and be like them. Opportunities, possibilities and a better lifestyle.
I think the tone was appropriate but unnecessary if this isn’t the first talk.

Anyways, I can't wait for the next video and would love to know what he was watching, it looks good.
Also, what’s on the left corner on 0:43?

I love reading breakdowns like this.
It's definitely not their first talk, he's getting tired of trying to rein her in... he's also a bit intoxicated. Her Dad is sorta reaping what he sowed raising her as a rebel against authority.

The thing in the corner is a loveseat infront of the window, the part in frame is the armrest.

I can't wait to get this next video out, but it's the biggest of the 3, so it might take a little while. Hopefully less than a month, pfft~
